Płyt z muzyką irlandzką jest tak wiele, że zalegają kosze z CD w sklepach charytatywnych. Trzeba mocno pogrzebać, by znaleźć coś interesującego. W tym przypadku wabikiem było logo RCA Victor, gwarantujące ponadprzeciętną jakość.

Dobrze się zaczyna (Chieftains, James Galway), jeszcze lepiej kończy („The Irish Suite” Leroya Andersona w wykonaniu Boston Pops pod batutą Arthura Fiedlera).
A i w „środku” nie najgorzej. Może się podobać Emily Mitchell, powinien Robert White, trudno też cokolwiek zarzucić doświadczonemu w irlandzkiej materii Robertowi Shaw i jego Robert Shaw Chorale.
Ale tak naprawdę warto mieć tę płytę dla „The Irish Suite” Leroya Andersona.
